Free Music Lesson Software Downloads

The free music software downloads section provides students and musicians with some of the best free music software available. In most instances I try to provide the actual download - but sometimes the companies will only permit a link to another site.

Here are a couple programs from a company called MusicGoals. They offer two products - Ear & Eye and Rhythm.

As the name implies, the Ear & Eye software helps with ear training, sight reading, and music theory applied to 6 instruments: piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, and bass.

The software program offers study, practice, and testing to improve skills, to gain knowledge of instruments and music theory, and to train the musical ear.

The Rhythm program helps develop timing, coordination, sight reading and notation skills. In addition, it provides practice rhythms for all skill levels and helps improve music performance and memorization skills.

Both programs are a 21 day trial and work on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP. I believe you can buy MusicGoals Ear & Eye for about $80 and MusicGoals Rhythm for about $40.
