Music Arranger

Coming up as a trumpet player, it often fell upon me to write the horn arrangements for the section. Through my education and many years of experience writing for various projects I've been involved in, I have continued to develop my arranging and composing skills and have done transcriptions and original compositions for groups such as The Joey Thomas Big Band, The New York Players Ent. Group, Alex Torres and The Latin Kings Orchestra, Amsterdam High School, The Groove Syndicate, Capital Brass and many others. With today's technology, more and more people are writing and arranging their own songs. However, a good composer/arranger should be able to create a specific mood or feel, write for specific instrumentation or key, and shape a song to suit the client's own style.
