Praise and Acknowledgement

From time to time it is nice to receive thanks for a job well done. In late 2005 I played at a local hospice facility by doing what I love to do - play music. You can download and listen to my music. Having known the value of a hospice facility - I was honored to play that day. I met a lot of wonderful people and their gift to me was their smiles of appreciation. However, in addition I also received a nice "thank you" letter that I am sharing with you.

To Whom it may Concern,

I am the Director of Development for The Community Hospice Foundation, which is the fundraising arm for the 9th largest hospice organization in the United States. I am writing this letter of recommendation to Kevin Hendrick for his fine work with us during our 2005 Annual Celebration in November 2005.

I connected with Kevin through another musician who has volunteered with us and played a number of our events. My request to Kevin was to provide some light jazz and instrumental music before and after our receptions, held at our Annual Celebration in Albany, NY. Kevin assembled a very professional set of musicians under the name of The Bartlett Street Project.

This group of professionals was exactly what we were looking for, adjusting the song sets, volume and tempo to accommodate our audience. This was the first time that we put our meeting together in the format that we used in 2005 and "The Project" was super. After the event, my CEO Phil Di Sorbo told me "make sure you let those players know that they provided exactly what we were looking for, they were very good".

I would recommend Kevin, based on my limited experience with him. He and his crew delivered what we asked at an exceptionally good value.
