Since I am a musician first, I have composed, arranged, engineered and played on many albums. Here is a partial discography when I was working with Alex Torres y Los Reyes Latinos over a 5 year stand. On all these albumns I played trumpet and often created arrangements if you look at the liner notes.
The albums below were released by WEPA Records. WEPA Records was started several years ago by the leader of Alex Torres y Los Reyes Latinos (Alex Torres) and the pianist of that group (Nicholas Lue). Originally the label was started to release recordings by Torres' group exclusively however the WEPA Records roster has grown to include other upstate New York artists. This label includes my long time friends such as pianist Adrian Cohen and a jazz fusion group called the Erftones (Jon Cohen).
2000 - Elementos
A two disc set. The first disc is chock full of merengues while the other disc is full of salsa. This album contains
a tribute to the King… Tito Puente titled "Descarga En Sol Para T.P.". This was my favorite album working with this group.
Listen to a track I composed, arranged and played called Black Mamba on My Music.
1999 - Entre Amigos
On this album the Latin Kings Orchestra really struts it's Latin jazz "Amongst Friends." As such this album includes an
impressive roster of invited friends including Jay Traynor, Keith Prey, Pete Toigo and Freddie Torres.
1997 - Somethin' Diferente
As stated in the album title - this cd contains many Latin favorites including "Guaracha La Cucaracha,"
"Que Nos Paso," and "Sunny-side Up." Definitely a lot of dance favorites for this somethin' diferente album.
1996 - On Track
This album was the band's 2nd release. It contains party favorites "Guaguanco Pa' P.R.," and "No Me Arrepiento."
